Officials from the Social Service Group of the international food company Ferrero visited the Giresun Child Rights Research Center. During the visit, comprehensive ideas were exchanged on the studies that can be carried out in the field of children's rights and joint projects for the future. In the meeting held with the delegation hosted by Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Yiğitbaş and Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Müzeyyen Altunbay; collaborations to strengthen children's education, social development and rights-based support mechanisms were discussed. During the meeting, the importance of joint action by local and international stakeholders on children's rights was also emphasized. Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağla Yiğitbaş stated that joint studies with international companies in the field of children's rights will make significant contributions and said, "We attach great importance to cooperation with international institutions in order to produce social responsibility projects that will contribute to the development of children. The visit of the Ferrero team was a valuable start in this sense." At the end of the visit, the parties made positive evaluations on the development of joint projects in the fields of children's rights, education and social awareness in the future.
