OUR MISSION
As Giresun University Child Rights Application and Research Center (ÇOHAM), our mission is to conduct scientific research, educational activities, and social contribution studies aimed at the protection, development, and dissemination of children's rights; and to contribute to the strengthening of rights-based approaches that take the best interests of the child and the right to participation as a basis. In line with this, we aim to produce knowledge on children's rights, increase social awareness, and support the effective participation of children in decision-making processes that concern them by developing interdisciplinary collaborations with public institutions, local governments, non-governmental organizations, and academic stakeholders at both national and international levels.

OUR VISION
To be an innovative and pioneering application and research center recognized at national and international levels through scientific knowledge production, education, research, and social contribution activities in the field of children's rights, providing scientific contributions to policies and practices aimed at protecting and developing children's rights. We aim to become one of the reference centers contributing to the development of a child rights-based society in which children's views are taken into consideration, their best interests are respected, they can benefit from their rights without discrimination, and they can actively participate in processes that concern them.
